Collingham is the clear selection here on a rating of 116, a full 5lb clear of Normofthenorth in second and further still ahead of the rest of this field of fourteen. That scale of advantage, allied to high confidence in the selection, makes him a straightforward pick in this Class 5 contest. Normofthenorth, Betty's Tiara and Jullou De Grissay are the chief dangers on our figures, but none get close to matching Collingham's rating.
Kenzo Des Bruyeres has been brought along slowly since making a bad mistake a few starts ago, and I just feel the Mickey Bowen-trained horse is now looking very well treated at the weights.
This is probably the most open race of the day, but he is well worth taking a chance on.
