Talladale heads this nine-runner Class 5 contest at Stratford on good-to-firm ground narrowly ahead of Roccana Rose on our ratings, and that edge, combined with what looks a workable trip of sixteen furlongs, gives him the nod. Roccana Rose represents the most pressing threat and is only four pounds behind, so there is little room for error, while Company Charge and Stand Proud also merit respect in a race where the unrated quartet add an element of the unknown. Confidence is modest, but on the figures available Talladale is marginally the best-credentialled runner in the field and is our selection.
