TIME FOR SANDALS ran an absolute cracker at Newmarket last time out after 222 days off. Drawn on completely the wrong side that day, he still produced a very eye-catching performance. Ryan Moore keeps the ride and with natural improvement expected from that comeback effort, I’d expect him to be right there fighting out the finish.

STRIKE RED could also outrun his odds if the high draw hasn’t completely ruled him out.

Joseph O\'Brien had a fantastic opening day, saddling one winner and three placed horses, and his team continues to operate in excellent form.

His representative here, LIMESTONE, really caught my eye on his latest start in Ireland. For a brief moment he looked as though he might be struggling for pace, but when asked to quicken he produced a turn of foot that was extremely impressive.

The step up to 1m6f is unknown territory for many in this field, but based on the way he finished off his race over 1m5f, I don\'t see the extra furlong being an issue at all. In fact, it may bring out even more improvement.
