The two against the field are MY AMBITION (nap) and Thapa Vc, both of whom run this track well.
THAPA VC drops into a 0-60 for the first time, and considering he won off 65 over course and distance at the end of last season, this looks very smart placement by Mark Rimell. He stepped up to 1m2f on his turf comeback run and was far too keen throughout, so the drop back to a mile in what looks a fairly weak race should suit much better. The 11/4 available at the time of writing looks a fair price.
Price on Posting 11/4
The biggest field of the day and one of the more competitive races on the card. Westerton could still be ahead of the handicapper and looks capable of defying his current mark. He is one of the stronger selections on the card and earns Free Nap status. Marhaba The Champ is respected and rates the main danger.
