The filly CALL MARGOT (nap) did well to win at Southwell last month having been denied a clear run and she is taken to defy a 6lb rise.
I was quite surprised to see DESERT TREASURE around the 9/2 mark when writing this up. I would have expected William Haggas’ unbeaten filly to be closer to 5/2. There still looks to be bags of improvement to come and I’m expecting a huge run.
The biggest field of the day and one of the more competitive races on the card. Westerton could still be ahead of the handicapper and looks capable of defying his current mark. He is one of the stronger selections on the card and earns Free Nap status. Marhaba The Champ is respected and rates the main danger.
