RACING POST VERDICT

Ka Mate Du Brivet is respected, but slight preference is for 2m Exeter winner OUR GUIDE who might improve again over this new trip.

Our Expert Tip

OUR GUIDE won well last time out over 2 miles at Exeter beating a good field and this step up in trip should bring out even more improvement.

On his first run on a racecourse in Ireland he beat the very good ZEUS POWER, who is now rated 146, so OUR GUIDE definitely sets the standard here and will be very tough to beat.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
