Perhaps the switch to turf will enable CHARLES MORIN to turn things round with his old rival Balgowan on slightly better terms.
2 mile contest here and Balgowan\'s win last time out off a mark of 54 was a very well timed effort after being held up off the pace. With the pace angle the same I expect Ashley Lewis to have the same tactics today.
For that win the handicapper only put the horse up 2lb and with Ashley Lewis\' claim again today this horse still looks well in on ratings. To add to Balgowan\'s chances, the James Owen horse he beat last time has come out and won twice very easily.
Balgowan can win this again and well deserves to be favourite.
