The race is named after Clearance, a six-time course winner for Michael Blake, and the trainer saddles the 4yo ARCTIC VOYAGE.
Only five runners go to post for this contest and it\'s a tricky race to assess. However, the Tom Lacey stable has hit form at the right time and top-weight Howth looks capable of making his class tell. Course-winning form is always a positive around here and further improvement could be forthcoming.
The biggest field of the day and one of the more competitive races on the card. Westerton could still be ahead of the handicapper and looks capable of defying his current mark. He is one of the stronger selections on the card and earns Free Nap status. Marhaba The Champ is respected and rates the main danger.
