RACING POST VERDICT

Cherringham was free-going on her debut but showed useful ability in a 10f novice, and a switch to faster ground should bring out further improvement for a trainer in sharp form — the well-bred filly is expected to take a significant step forward here. Regal Desire sets the form standard having run a promising runner-up race on her only start and is clearly the chief danger. Pepsea has been reliably solid across her runs and the drop in distance should help her get competitive. Cherringham is our selection.

Our Expert Tip

A horrible race on paper and one where it\'s difficult to have much confidence in the exposed runners. At the prices, I\'m happy to take a chance on the David O\'Meara newcomer FELIZ NAVIDAD. The sire has produced some useful winners recently and if this one has inherited any ability, 10/1 looks more than fair.
