RACING POST VERDICT

Hallandale Beach has posted consecutive placed efforts in handicap company and went down by only 2l at Windsor last time off a mark 1lb higher than today's — he arrives in form and our ratings give him a clear edge. Corniche Girl has been consistent through recent starts and is dangerous dropped 1lb, while Who Is Alice and Ken Brulee also hold claims. Our selection is Hallandale Beach.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
