RACING POST VERDICT

Capichera went close on her handicap debut at Nottingham, going down by only 3 lengths off a mark of 80, and that level of form makes her the standout back in novice company here. Take A View is the main danger — her debut effort has since been endorsed at a higher level and she drops to a mile in a first-time tongue-tie — while Carnival Of Light showed enough promise on her initial start to merit attention. Capichera is the selection.

Capichera
Our Expert Tip

Another tricky race and I think favourite Capichera is far too short at 4/9. I\'ll take a chance on Take A View for Harry Charlton. The drop back to a mile on better ground could bring about further improvement and 7/2 looks a fair price in what appears to be a two-horse race.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
