RACING POST VERDICT

Alcantor has two Group wins in France to his name and has shown high-class form; he was unsuited by the drop to 7f last time but today's mile is a far better fit, and he could prove superior to this field if he reproduces his best. Tokenomics arrives off consistent Listed form and will be dangerous on quick ground, while Duckadilly landed at this level last time — though that was in a weak renewal and she needs more here. Zodiac Bear should improve on his comeback run and is another solid danger. Alcantor is our selection.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
