RACING POST VERDICT

Blue Prince comes here in good nick after landing a handicap last time at a mark 6lb lower than today's, with course and trip both ticking the right boxes; the step up in grade is the question. Zabeel Alkabeir is an intriguing opponent after months off — he showed class in his all-weather win last autumn and may be better than his mark implies; Maximising put up a useful effort stepping up to a mile last time and rates the chief of the rest. Verdict: Blue Prince.

Blue Prince
Our Expert Tip

He\'s been off the track for 272 days but his last run was uber impressive, 1st time in a handicap today and if fit ZABEEL ALKABEIR is definitely worth an eachway bet.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
