RACING POST VERDICT

Travis arrives in the best form he has shown for a couple of seasons, having landed a handicap by 2l from a 6lb lower mark last time out; his trainer is in fine form and the step up in weight is the main uncertainty, but he heads these on our figures. Qazaq steps in with first-time blinkers off a competitive mark and is capable of running a big race, while Reginald Charles, second last time in encouraging form, is also in the mix. Travis is our selection.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
