RACING POST VERDICT

Max Of Stars landed this race 12 months ago and arrives fractionally higher in the weights after running well on the Flat recently; her front-running style on good ground at a venue she knows sets up a bold display. Continuance posts consistent placed form and will stay on powerfully from off the pace, while Arctic Voyage ran well below his usual level last time in much stronger company and should have more to offer here on a drop in grade. Max Of Stars is the selection.

Our Expert Tip

Emerald Time was a good result for the website last time out and has obvious claims once again, but he can struggle to settle in his races. Instead, the vote goes to Charlus, who possesses the strongest form on past performances. If returning anywhere near his best, he could spring a surprise and looks the value selection in the finale.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
