RACING POST VERDICT

ASTRAL CALLING and HAPPY LOVE are the two significant newcomers in this maiden, and market support on the day looks the clearest guide to her prospects on debut. Among the experienced runners, UNDER ARREST, trained by William Haggas, showed enough in trailing home last of five on his Newmarket bow to suggest the experience alone will bring improvement now under Cieren Fallon, while HIGH HAZARD built on a promising first start when denied a clear run close home in stepping forward to finish second last month, and ROSBERG also has more to offer having shown ability on his own debut for a leading juvenile yard. Even so, with plenty still to prove among that trio, ASTRAL CALLING's fresh potential makes her capable of defying inexperience, and she's our selection.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
