RACING POST VERDICT

Battenburg Belle, rated 69 by us, is our selection after a breakthrough win last time that capped a progressive sequence of one win and three seconds from her last six starts, and the small rise in the weights shouldn't stop her following up. Truly Special, back on a good mark following a recent success, is the most obvious danger, though it remains to be seen whether quicker ground will suit as well as conditions did that day. Hood Wink has been consistently competitive all season and remains open to further improvement, while a below-form Zoulette cannot be ruled out either if bouncing back. On balance, Battenburg Belle's clear upward trend gives her the edge for us.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
