RACING POST VERDICT

Ballydisco showed on his return at Uttoxeter that he's back to something like his best and stays well beyond today's trip on any ground; our figures have him narrowly clear. Galway Reel is the main threat — a course-and-distance winner on a fair mark, pulled up last time only because he was asked to run again too soon. Ballydisco is our selection.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
