Zowal is our selection at Hamilton, preferred to the higher-rated Kaleido on the strength of his progressive profile - a recent win followed by a solid placed effort marking him out as a horse on the up. Kaleido himself remains the chief threat on pure figures after a runner-up effort last time out, with Quiet Resolve and Showcasing Star also in the mix on their recent form. It's a competitive renewal and confidence is low, but Zowal's upward trajectory edges it for us.
