RACING POST VERDICT

Almeraq is our selection, preferred ahead of the higher-rated Satono Reve on the strength of a more progressive profile. His recent form, fitness and fit with today's conditions all support his claims in a competitive Class 1 sprint. Satono Reve, Big Mojo and Venetian Sun all pose danger, with Big Mojo matching our selection on figures. Confidence in the pick is only medium given the strength and depth of this field.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
