Fast Track Harry is the clear pick on our figures for this competitive Class 3 over today's 6f at Ascot, rated clear of the rest of a large field despite a blank last two starts, on the strength of back-to-back wins earlier in his form. Russet Gold and So Darn Hot are the most interesting of the dangers, both rated well above their recent bare results, while Coul Angel also holds solid claims on figures. Confidence is medium rather than bombproof given the selection's recent quiet spell, but the scale of the rating advantage makes him the one they all have to beat in this field.
A wide-open finale where several runners can make genuine cases, but Bolo Neighs looks overpriced in the early markets. He has already shown he handles the track, having won at Ascot a few starts ago, and although he has been raised in the weights, the valuable claim from Harry Vigors helps offset that increase. At the prices, he makes plenty of appeal as a solid each-way selection to round off the card.
