Without Flaw heads this Class 6 sprint on our figures, rated 58 and a workmanlike sort over today's trip, but we're siding with Barmyblade instead. Preferred over the top-rated on: progressive profile — Barmyblade's figures have been trending the right way and get him the nod ahead of a rating that, on paper, edges him out. He's An Angel and Opal Storm both sit closely behind on our figures and look the most obvious dangers, along with Without Flaw itself. Barmyblade is our selection at medium confidence in a race where the majority of this ten-strong field are covered by just a handful of pounds.
SO GRATEFUL’S recent run suggests that his sliding handicap mark may finally have come to a standstill. If that is the case, he looks very well treated based on his old form and should go very close here. There are plenty in the race with realistic chances on paper, so the each-way angle looks the sensible way forward.
