RACING POST VERDICT

I'm A Starman heads the market on our figures by a healthy 17 lb from Knightsbridge, and with today's trip already proven he rates the one to beat in this eight-runner race. Knightsbridge arrives on the back of an improving sequence and looks the most obvious threat, with Carpe Diem's remarkable consistency and Huckleberry Sting's recent form both giving this plenty of depth. I'm A Starman's below-par finishing sequence is the slight worry, but on rating alone he's a confident selection.

Rain cap will be all the rage in the betting, but again when isn\'t it. was 2/1 beaten fav last time out and essentially is 4lb worse off here, Im going to take an eachway gamble on BULLINGTON BRY switch stables last time out and well supported in the market, the 1st time blinkers were slapped on and seemed to do an ok job, I would prefer this horse to potentially get a bit more cover, he will stay 7F/1m and has the speed to tuck in if needed. the race is not great and if Jessica Macey can squeeze a bit more out of this horse on his 2nd run he could go close, of a career low marl and 4 places on offer at 15/2 happy to have an eachway play on this.
