Yes Day is our selection, leading our own figures by seven pounds over this seven-runner field and fresh into the race after just 17 days. Giovanni Change, Special John and Redbridge Rambler all rate as the chief dangers, each capable of running to a similar level on their day. Confidence in Yes Day is high given the size of that rating advantage.
Special John and Sir Carnegie are two horses I really like in this contest, but the win vote goes to Sir Carnegie.
I still feel he is well ahead of his current mark of 103, and there should be more improvement to come. Special John is respected, but Sir Carnegie gets the selection.
