Defence Missile has yet to show much recent form, finishing fifth last time out after a run of finishes no better than sixth, but he still holds the highest rating in this modest field at 58. It is a marginal, low-confidence pick more than a strong vouch on form. Copper And Five, Inspiring Speeches and Elettaria are all rated close enough on our figures to have live claims and could easily reverse placings on the day. Defence Missile is our selection, but this looks a genuinely open race on the book.
COPPER AND FIVE has never competed in a race of this low a grade and fully deserves to be near the head of the market.
The horse has won at this track before, and this looks like an excellent opportunity to return to winning ways.
