BAY BREEZE is the only confirmed front-runner — and this is a track where that matters: front-runners here win 2.2 times their share of these races. An uncontested lead could be decisive.
BAY BREEZE at 5/1, Tim Easterby and David Allan, is the standout, and this is exactly the sort of race to find one. He races off a mark 9lb below the 67 it won from back in May 2025, handles the ground, with 5 wins from 14 on it and gets a trip he has won over.
IMPRESSOR rates higher on our figures but has been set aside by hand — He won at Hamilton the day before and is declared again 24 hours later off the same mark. A quick turnaround like that is usually taken out on the morning, and a horse we expect to be withdrawn is not one to advise.
