Capichera went close on her handicap debut at Nottingham, going down by only 3 lengths off a mark of 80, and that level of form makes her the standout back in novice company here. Take A View is the main danger — her debut effort has since been endorsed at a higher level and she drops to a mile in a first-time tongue-tie — while Carnival Of Light showed enough promise on her initial start to merit attention. Capichera is the selection.
Another tricky race and I think favourite Capichera is far too short at 4/9. I\’ll take a chance on Take A View for Harry Charlton. The drop back to a mile on better ground could bring about further improvement and 7/2 looks a fair price in what appears to be a two-horse race.
