All racecards for Saturday 12th September
We said9th of 10, beaten 8½ at 4/1J
MART 5/1
WALKING ON CLOUDS is the only confirmed front-runner, and he is not our selection — and this is a track where that matters: front-runners here win 2.5 times their share of these races. An uncontested lead could be decisive, which is the risk to ours.
MART at 5/1, D Donovan with Ashley Lewis taking off 3lb, is the one — exactly the sort of race we are looking for. He races off a mark 19lb below the 70 it won from back in May 2025, is a 3 times-winner over this course and is back quickly, ran 2 days ago.
The dangers are HENRY TUDOR at 10/1 (went close off this mark) and ALASHOS at 9/1 (a course winner).
